There are over the world a handful of inventors and genius handymen who decided to take up a crazy challenge: the manufacture and navigation with their own pocket submarine. Alec Smyth is a Washington DC hobbyist who has a submarine in operation and is working on the construction of a second. Appointment is made around Seneca Lake, New York State, for a freshwater dive in the very private club of personal submariners.
